Sri Lanka is a tropical island in the Indian Ocean, off the southeastern coast of India.

This land was wracked by civil war for decades.

Land Of Lakes: The plains of Sri Lanka offer a wildlife spectacle to rival Africa's Serengeti. It may seem timeless, but life here faces constant changes.
