J.S. Bach - The Four Great Toccatas & Fugues - Biggs (1988)

Having the original recording some years ago, I forgot what a beautiful recital this is. Having played for Mr. Biggs in an organ class I found him to be a first-class person as well as a great organist. Granted, by this time, he suffering from arthritis in his hands. But the recital that evening was well recieved (Colorado State University). Unlike other organist of that time, he played to let the composer speak not injecting himself into the mix.
This is a great document of a great organist. My only complaint would be that they did not include the specs oh the organ itself, but I can look that up line.
